INTERNAL GRAPHICS Q.A. STANDARDS AND WORKSHOP

In 2015, I served on a team tasked to develop a system of objective quality assurance criteria by to evaluate AT&T’s training materials. Partnered with another instructional designer with a strong graphic design background, our task was to define the QA standards and create a PDF guidebook for visual aspects, including examples to explain the associated principles.

In 2017, a website was launched to integrate the criteria and examples into a more streamlined and systematic online solution. As part of a “PULSE” live virtual instructional design seminar for AT&T’s entire learning and development org, I created and delivered a workshop based on how clarity of visual communication directly impacts the clarity of learning communication.

I also presented the idea of design as an integrated mindset: the ADDIE process of instructional design is the essentially the same process across all kinds of design, including visual communications design.
